How do we achieve great Tax Refunds?

We have a fantastic record in reclaiming tax refunds and we spend a lot of time making sure those refunds are the best possible.  So instead of an average refund of €800, we can boast an average of €880.  We like getting big refunds for our customers and obviously they like it too as we get a lot of recommendations, so thanks all!

But it’s not just above the large refunds, it’s also about turning an €80 refund into a €180 refund.  and that’s why we don’t charge minimum fees – we keep motivated to get you the best refund no matter what the level.

So what’s the secret to our ability to gain large refunds?  Pure and simply, it’s communication.  Every time we discover something new it’s a Oooooooh! moment around the office and you’ll see heads bobbing up and down a learning buzz!

There is no qualification out there focussed on PAYE tax, so we need to be the experts and industry leaders in this area.  Accounting and tax qualifications for instance do not deal in any depth with PAYE taxation.

As part of that communication, we have what we call the Wednesday Club.  The Wednesday Club sit for 2 hours most Wednesdays over a lunch and dissect a particular topic.  For instance this week, dealing with specific employments.  It’s all about communication and sharing our learning and giving people the time to explore issues in depth.  Where needed we get subject matter experts in.

We’ve decided to open up the Wednesday Club and let everyone know what goes on there.  No, we wont be webcasting the lunch (nobody likes been stared at when eating!), but we will be blog on the particular topic of that week.  So watch out for regular blogs from the Wednesday Club.
